Edit and create Templates (Patient Info Packs)
When you join CoTreat we provide templates (Patient Info Packs) with patient-facing information to:
- Create awareness of treatment options available to them
- Engage them with their treatment plans
The options we suggest are Implants, Ortho and Crowns as these procedures are often the ones that patients are not made aware of and we're here to help that.
What information helps your patients?
Have a clear aim for the information you're, it can help to consider these 4 aims:
- Awareness - making the patient aware of a treatment option previously not considered
- Interest
- Decision-Making
- Action
Consider where the patient is in their decision-making and provide relevant information. The fist step is awareness of the option and it's benefit to them.

Editing an Existing Template
CoTreat creates templates to help you get started, but you remain in control, so it's important you know how to edit them.
Over time you will change how you talk to patients about different treatment options, so from time to time you will have a need to update templates.
- Click the Settings icon
- Click Templates
- Click Edit on the template you need to update
- Make your changes
- You must click Update to save your changes
It's easier to update and edit in the full screen view which is the icon in the yellow square seen below.
When you're finished making your changes if the Update button doesn't appear, scroll down.
If you need any assistance you can search for "How To" articles using the Help beacon or send us a message via the chat.
